We are seeking a Sales & Brand Partnerships Manager, responsible for generating commercial revenues across the Planet Sport Network by selling a variety of products to advertisers and their representatives.
The Sales & Brand Partnerships Manager is responsible for generating commercial revenues across the Planet Sport Network by selling a variety of products to advertisers and their representatives.
The post holder will also contribute to product development and work with all stakeholders (including internally the Product, Revenue Operations, and Management teams; as well as externally with agencies and advertisers) to feedback market intelligence to allow the business to improve its offering. This will include information on price, what the market is buying, product features and market potential.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Sales Revenue and Revenue Generation
As a prominent member of the team, the individual will play a fundamental role in growing our business and expanding Planet Sport’s client base through proactive business development with brands and agencies.
Develop a sales strategy to focus on generating new business across target advertiser categories.
Identify priority advertisers and agencies to target and prospective teams within these organizations.
Develop strong relationships within target organizations.
Sales Development: Outreach to RFP to proposal
Forge relationships across brands and agencies to ensure a healthy pipeline of new leads via sales outreach and follow up discussions.
Ideation and refinement of collateral types.
Respond to RFPs with ideal propositions.
Sales negotiation and deal closing.
Internal Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Group to identify further opportunities.
Provide accurate sales reports and forecasts to stakeholder meetings and on a regular and timely basis.
Use HubSpot reports to show progress on outreach, successes/losses, and progress against tasks.
Meet or exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets.
2. Product Development
Product and Sales Collateral
Work with internal stakeholders offering product development input and feature requests. Compiling market requirements and offer competitor analysis and examples.
Product Types to be Delivered Include But Are Not Limited to:
Branded content solutions.
Video and podcast content.
Games, quizzes, and engagement features.
3. Account Management
Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to ensure successful delivery, optimisation and reporting of campaigns.
Oversee and manage all client communications ensuring top quality service. Identify, propose, and close upweight or renewal opportunities.
Ability to interrogate opportunities and present solid strategic thinking and advice to clients with clarity and gravitas.
4. Sales Technology and Marketing
Day-to-day HubSpot CRM database management, continually maintaining detailed and accurate profile records, deals, forecasts and conversations with contacts, targets, and companies. Manage invoicing of deals won.
Campaigns and Collateral Development
Work with marketing colleagues to develop sequenced campaigns that engage and convert target cohorts.
Create and develop sales collateral including pitch documents, proposals, and presentations.
Use a variety of digital platforms (i.e. ad server, BI tools, social media data, email data) to monitor, measure and report campaign performance.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Knowledge and experience of using CRM software (HubSpot ideally) • Knowledge of the digital media landscape i.e. agencies, online advertisers. • Knowledge or experience of digital publishing is useful.
