New Podcast Launches

We launched the On Another Planet podcast series, hosted by sports personalities Robbie Savage and Emma Jones, providing insider football knowledge, light-hearted chats, and Savage’s unique perspective as both player and Director of Football. This has expanded our content offerings and allowed us to engage with sports fans in a new format. 

Commenting on the release of the podcast, Jones said: “I’m so excited to launch On Another Planet with Robbie. It’s giving us both the opportunity to discuss the big talking points from the weekend’s football and it’s giving everyone the chance to ask Robbie questions about his role as Director of Football at Macclesfield (the stuff we actually want to know!)

This is a raw, honest and open chat between two pals, plus a rotating panel of football experts from the Planet Sport network, so at least one of us is talking sense!” 

The sister podcast, Horse Racing On Another Planet" has now also debuted, featuring social media personalities Izzy Phillips and Liz Bachelor discussing the latest happenings in the racing world. The new podcast will be bringing you in-depth discussions and exclusive interviews with the sport's biggest names, including, leading jockey and Planet Sport Bet ambassador, Harry Cobden. As Cheltenham approaches, this is a great week to get the inside scoop before the races begin

Commenting on Planet Sport’s continued drive to provide the most entertaining sports and betting content, Planet Sport Bet’s Managing Director, Mike Grenham, said:

Speaking about her enthusiasm to formalise her horse racing passion into a podcast, host, Liz Bachelor, said: 

"I'm delighted to be joining Planet Sport to chat all things racing. Izzy and I have a great chemistry after meeting a couple of years ago, and we hope that comes across to our viewers/listeners. We won't shy away from an opinion and can't wait to take everyone along on this exciting journey.”

The Betting team attended the ICE conference in London, connecting with industry contacts, exploring new products, and showcasing Planet Sport's offerings.

Continued Growth and Looking Ahead

Planet Sport Bet has shown consistent growth throughout February and is well-positioned to seize the opportunities presented by the jam-packed sporting calendar unfolding from March onwards. With highly anticipated events such as the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National, the Champions League, and Euro 2024 on the horizon, we are well-prepared to cater to the enthusiasm of the fans!

We have continued our sponsorships of horse racing meetings, including the February 25th event at Hereford and a Cheltenham Festival preview on March 7th in London where the excellent panel of guests will include our Planet Sport Bet ambassador Harry Cobden.

The Planet Sport Bet platform has recently diversified the offering, going beyond racing and football to encompass sports such as Rugby League, Rugby Union, Darts, Cricket, and NFL, with a goal to attract a wider audience.
