The acquisition of one of the most popular social media accounts in football will enable the sports media group to tap into a highly engaged community of football fans at a grassroots level. It will extend reach and share of voice across leading social media platforms, broadening its offering to brands and agencies seeking to engage with football fans around the globe.
Grassroot Goals will retain its identity as a standalone brand, with Planet Sport Group leveraging the channel’s strong partnership portfolio that already includes brands like Carling and Captain Morgan.
